A few questions
I'm actually a long time OOTP player, but some of these things I never really thought in depth about until now.. before I would just play my game and be happy with it, while not thinking about all the other stuff.
1. I got my laptop about 3 years ago I believe it's Dell... so my question is.. what exactly happens when it says " "the following minimum system requirements for this setup were not met screenheight 768" I have my bar hiding, so I don't have to go into fullscreen mode but my question is.. am i missing out on anything with not reaching the minimum height? like is parts of the menu/game/etc cut off? for example in the "front office tab" where it says attendance chart with the graphs, is there something/words under it? I get so paranoid when it comes to thinking information is being cut off 2. if i was going to get a new laptop, what type of laptop would you suggest? I've been having a lot of problems with OOTP crashing lately, so I'm not sure if it's my laptop or just buggy parts of OOTP 3. is OOTP better played on a PC or a laptop? please answer these questions, with OOTP freezing so much for me in the quickstart mode lately.. I've been wondering if it's because of me/my laptop or OOTP |

If you have room for it Id say get a pc. I play on an HP laptop and have no issues or crashes. Yea everytime a year is finished and it autosaves along with my scouting it says "not responding", but thats just for a little. I also dont have much on my laptop. So im sure that helps. Its an HP "Beats Music" Laptop that i bought in 2012 or 13.. I have Windows 10 on it.

I wonder if it's quickstarts that are the problem(for me) when I played Standard games or fictional games they usually work, but with quickstarts they just crash. |

I haven't tried in recent versions, but there used to be a minimum screen size to play the game. Check and see if your screen is big enough.

I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop at Walmart a few months for $375. 8 GB RAM, 1.9 GHz CPU, and I've had no problems running anything.
