Number of Teams Supported?
If anyone can answer this it would be a great help, and I apologize if it has been covered previously in another thread.
I am in the beginning stages of setting up a fictional league. I'm plan on running it forever, I may even blog on it or start a dynasty thread. My idea is a United States Baseball League, divided into two Leagues. Eventually each state will have one representitive team in the league. So my question is, can the game generate a schedule for a 50 team league, with 25 teams in each subleague? Will the game even allow me to expand to an odd number of teams in a subleague? Thank you from all who respond.

Weird things will happen with an odd number of teams in each subleague. The game doesn't generate schedules with interleague, and so you'll end up with one team in each taking a break at a time. Unfortunately, the season isn't lengthened to compensate for that, and so you end up with teams playing the wrong number of games. You can certainly have a league set up that way, but you'll need a schedule for it.

Do you know off hand where a schedule like that maybe available for download and import? Or a tool I could download to create it myself?

If I were you, I'd just add 2 more teams for US territories, such as Puerto Rico and Guam, as the schedule would be fixed.

Either that or just make sure your teams are even in each league. One league with 24 teams the other with 26 should solve it as well.

Or 50 teams for each states so that's 25 and 25 and remember DC is within its own Jurisdiction it does not fall into a state so that's 51 if you can manages to add one more you can 26 and 26

Or if you do DC like mentioned above many people don't realize but the USA has a micro nation inside of it; you could use that as a location. Here's the wiki link with info:

This is going to be the best way to do it - I just noticed, there are 24 states west of the Mississippi, and 26 east of it. That's a perfect way to divide the subleagues geographically anyway. That's how I'd do it.

The only thing about that format is that he won't be able to have Washington DC

You could do a Baltimore-Washington DC team like the Kansas City-Omaha Royals (now Sacramento Kings) back in the 70s.
