Question turning off facegen for speed

Do any of you consider turning off facegen to speed up the game. Is the difference notable? Is it worth it? Do you guys play with or without facegen? Thanks for the response in advance?

It depends. If you have a large game world and are more interested in simming large time periods, then yes. I would also disable baseball cards.

However, if you're just playing day by day and hoping it will get a bit faster, I don't think it will make it an appreciable difference.

I love... LOVE Facegen.

My enjoyment of the game would drop greatly without it.

Yet, I care nothing for animation. I even turn off ball flight.

Go figure.
