Question about division setup

I am running a fictional league and I want to move a team from one division to another to accommodate expansion. I am not adding a division, just teams, but want to move a couple of teams out of their original division to the other division for more geographical continuity. Is there a way to do this without fouling up the history of the teams affected by the move?

League menu/League Settings (last option on drop down)
League & Teams tab/Edit League Structure

Always generate a schedule AFTER you are done fiddling with alignment
