Automatic registration of updates
I just installed the most recent OOTP 16 update, and even though I installed it to the same location as the previous update, the registration key didn't get imported.
It's only a minor aggravation because I had saved the registration number where I could remember where I put it. Some days I am not that careful. I didn't install it to the default location. Did that have anything to do with the failure to perform as 'advertised' ? |

Not sure what is going on with this, TBH. Normally you shouldn't have to re-license your game after installing updates. If this was an update, and you chose a new location, it's possible that you now have TWO copies of the game on your machine, one in the original folder, and one in the newly specified folder.
Just a thought.

I know you said that you installed it to the same directory. For kicks search using file manager for ootp.exe. You may be surprised.
