Stupid question of the day
So, I often see people referring to a hitter's key stats using three averages separated by slashes: Bob hit .298 / .366 / .375.
Stupid question of the day: what are these three stats? Is it AVG / OBP / SLG? AVG / SLG / OPS? Something else? Thanks!

I always love it when someone else has the guts to ask something, so I don't have to

Conversely, I now feel super-knowledgeable for knowing the answer to a question a guy with 17k posts asked.
![]() While we're on stupid questions though, and to deflate my ego a bit, how can SLG go over 4.0? If you homer in every AB, that's an SLG of 4, right? You can't get more than 4 bases on one hit. So how can, for example, Bryce Harper have an SLG of 6.40. An average of 6.40 bases per at bat...? |

Ahem. Yeaah. Realling putting the stupid in 'stupid question' with that one.
