Relationships
One of the things that I think is cool to see in FM is the way they keep track of the relationships/friendships between the various coaches, agents and players. It adds an extra layer of immersion. Having relationships would force you to think about the choices you make. If you alienate another GM with constant low-ball trade offers, he may never entertain a serious offer from you and that could carry over for long stretches. Or if you sign another team's restricted free agent that could diminish the ability to make a deal with that team in the future (i.e. Brian Burke's falling out with Kevin Lowe over the Dustin Penner signing). In terms of players relationships, if you have two players that are good friends, maybe they sign for less to play together (i.e. Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne going to Colorado for a season). Adding agents to the mix would be cool because that adds an extra wrinkle. These are just suggestions for down the road.

Yeah, I miss this a lot in FHM. If teams had favorite and disliked personnel, it could also prevent many unrealistic transfers from happening. If it would be implemented in the A.I., of course.

We're working on some aspects of this with the chemistry system. But it's going to be a very large project to add more complicated relationships than that, so broader expansion of relationships will definitely be something for a future version.
