Jose Fernandez Return From Injury
Hey everyone,
I have been playing as the GM of the Marlins. Jose Fernandez tore his flexor tendon in his elbow in spring training of 2018. This required him to miss the whole season and about a month of the next. In 2019, I sent him on a rehab assignment and also noticed his overall was significantly lower. From 80-80 to 21-60 (current-potential). However, as a closer he was 67-67. He came back in 2019 and won reliever of the year with a 1.85 ERA, 36 saves, and about 60 innings pitched. I had no complaints, as he was still useful. I'm now in the offseason before 2020 and he is back at 80-80 as a SP. Is this normal? |

I'm assuming that his stamina fell quite a bit. That can definitely happen in-game when there are injuries, particularly long-term injuries.
