Sometimes on these boards, there is somewhat of a game/challenge

I offer one of these........ I am currently in 1973 in the saved_game, but when I get into the 80s I will start editing players to reflect ture players....

For Instance: Like Will Clark will be Cliff Wilkes, and Kevin Mitchell will be Kelvin Munro, Daryl Strawberry will be Darryl Cherry, Eric Davis will be Aaron Davis, Rock Raines will be Ricky Raines, Tim Wallach will be Trent Walbach, Kirby Puckett is Ken Purvis, Shane Mack is Shawn MacKey , etc.

SO I CHALLENGE AND INVITE THE BOARD TO OFFER MORE OF THESE ...

AND I WILL PUT THEM IN THE GAME, AND WILL EVENTUALLY SHARE THEIR PLAYER PROFILE WITH STATS HERE ON THIS FORUM .....

BUT""""" NOT EVERYONE'S SUGGESTION WILL MAKE THE GAME... AND IT DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE CREATIVE NATURE OF THE NAME, .... IT WILL HAVE EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THE PLAYER BEING REFLECTED ....

SO THAT IS A SORT OF DOWNER .... IT IS VERY SUBJECTIVE, SORRY....

BUT I WILL TRY TO LET YOU KNOW THE NAME WAS APPRECIATED AND CREATIVE

I hated to see them retire, but we have Altuve, Springer, Correa, and Keuchel now. Plus, our farm system is still loaded.

Picked some great ball players!!! ....

I might go with Danny instead of Don ... MIke Greenwell is certainly a player I want to reflect

I look through the names of the draft to rid out the too European names, I hae edited the US an allow for more Russian, Polish, Czech, Romanian .. etc names ..... and sometimes they names are too European, ... I saw a SS named Barry Larkin, .... SO I went ahead and made him a bit early ... Barry Laursen

Also, I found another player that could've just as well have been Joe Morgan.... so let's it is so

I found more rookies that led me to pretty much think about certain MLBers...

Again, just kind of came across some rookies, and said.. they are begging me to make them into one of these MLBers
