Restoring a backup to a new save slot
I'm not that new, but this seemed like the place for this:
After finishing a WS winning season, I succumbed to impatience and charged ahead into the offseason, making a number of trades. While I'm happy with how those moves turned out and don't want to undo them, I'd love to preserve a copy in another file of how the team stood at the end of the series, which is when I last backed up. I've never done any restores from backup before--fortunate to have not needed to. Can a backup be restored to a new save instead of over the one it was created from? If so, how? Thank you kindly! |

Aha, figured it out! I was misinterpreting what the dialog box was telling me to do. Sorry.

took me the longest time to figure it out. Pretty simple once you do it, but not the clearest instructions when you're first doing it. (maybe i should have read the on-line manual first??) Glad you got it figured out.
