Question about disabled lists

Just discovered this game and finished the first month of my first season. I received a message that a player needed to be activated from the disabled list. When I check out the lists, he is on the disabled list screen and also on my 40 man roster.

I cannot drag him to the 40 man roster, and none of the available actions have an option for activating him. When I ignore it and try to play the next game, I cannot because he must be activated from the DL first.

I have searched the manual and forums but not found this situation addressed.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried right clicking his name and putting him on the active roster?

That^ is what needs to be done and some other player has to be removed, sent to the minors, DFA'd waived or possibly released depending on options and right to refuse.

Edit: he can be dragged onto the active roster after the above.
