Historical Sim Crash

The game has crashed multiple times while I am playing a historical sim through. It will sim about a year and a half before it crashes. No specific month or anything. I am currently in year 1895.

I am running the game on a Mac operating on 10.11.2 and the current update of OOTP Baseball 17.4. Build 36

Im getting historical crashes too. Playing on a Macbook air. Anyone figure this one out?
