New Team Needs Feature - Needs Work

Markus,
While I think this feature will be great, it needs a lot of work first.

I have many teams responding to my needs with players that I would want to trade for and may others that I have no desire to trade for which I can ignore. Unfortunately, the ones I do want to trade for, I can never get a deal completed after initiating the trade. I've offered my top 5 prospects for a 25 year old slightly above average player that his own team scouts do not rate very high. No go. Add 45M to the deal, no go. Click make this work after removing one prospect, no go. I cannot get any info as to what they want back from me so why did they offer me the player. I never actually planned to give up that much, but thought it was very strange that the other team, which is rebuilding, would refuse that deal. I wish the AI would offer me that deal, I would take it as fast as I could.

I think it would be a better implementation of this feature if the AI would simply offer a trade with a comment indicating they are responding to my team needs. This will at least provide a starting point as to what they want from me. I can always adjust it to see what else will work. If the AI cannot define a trade, than they really don't have any player that meets my team needs.

Thanks,
Tim

I'm having very good success with teams letting me know which players fit my criteria. I've had a couple deals done. This sounds like trade difficulty and AI evaluation settings more than a "problem" with team needs.

It would be nice if the offering team proposed a trade rather than just saying I have a guy that meets your criteria.

All settings are default (I prefer to play as the developer thinks the game should be played) so if the settings are at fault for the way the trades need function is working than the default game settings need to be adjusted to work with properly with this feature.
