Where did my international complex go?

updated the new patch this morning, played a few games (simmed them) and took off for a few hours. Came back and got ready for my amateur draft, and noticed my international complex is gone from all my teams????? don't think i changed anything .... weird. anyone else?

did a restore from a game earlier today .... same results - no international complex. played a game and my scout found a player and said it was in my international complex .... but i can't find it anymore, not on my team or any other in my league. also when you "search" for that player - it says he is on "no Team" ......

when i click on the "International" box on my team homepage - says i have no players - but the drop down menu (where it says ML and all my minors and feeders) doesn't even recognize it, and the player i just "discovered" is not anywhere but in my news mailbox. (other than being on NO Team ...)

it's not that i used the complex that much, but it's weird it just up and disappeared.

when the International Complex disappeared, i believe it dumped all those players into free agency, as my free agent pool jumped 250 players about the time i noticed my International Complex was missing. So mystifying, as Ray Davies might say.

also now i am getting this message "2 minor league players have been deleted. For further optimization of database, please select purge deleted records from database tool in the database tab."

i did delete a few players from my FA list ... so that part of the message is correct i guess, though i've never gotten it before when i deleted players from that list.

and when you go to the database purge tool, it basically says, disaster may well happen if you use this tool, so do so only if you are having problems with the size.

?????

even did an unlicense / uninstall and reinstalled latest patch ... still no international complex. Guess i'll learn to live without it. Still curious what happened and why my scout is still finding prospects but they end up as free agents and the IC never get recreated..

welll, it doesn't matter now .... somehow when i last saved my game, it didn't go well i guess, as when i try to restore from backup, it said my database was corrupt. i tried an older back-up, and it wouldnt allow me to pick it for some reason. So i guess i'm starting over ...... thanks for the attempted help endgame. very weird situation.

edit:

unlicensed/uninstall. reinstalled previous version (after a corrupt database issue, and trying three or 4 backed up files, finally got one to load correctly) - and in the older version of the game 14.6.46 - international complex is present .... it vanished when i re-upgraded to 17.7.51

OK - new edit:

actually got my latest game to reappear after loading an the older database ... musta been in saved games or something. But after i loaded 17.7.51, there was no international complex in either game, not to old one nor my current one. think it's the latest patch being the culprit, but it's late and i give up - for now at least. i can live without the International complex.

Shoot. Yeah, apparently if you have scouting discoveries on, but the international FA off, I totally screwed things up for you. Was trying to fix another issue and missed a condition in my check.

We'll try to get a fix in for this, but likely won't be in a patch until sometime next week at the earliest.

sounds good. i decided to uninstall again, and delete all my old files since something was wrong anyway, and i'll reload the game in the morning after a major defrag and start all over with new files and all - from 1901. thanks for the heads up. you guys remain awesome.

"hi. was your complex bug fixed? I have the same problem as you and the latest patch didn't fix it."

i haven't used the scouting discovered complex since i reported it, but the game is still creating international free agents even though my settings are set to create none, as well as no team discoveries.

the game HAS fixed the player deletion issue, it seems. i haven't seen it pop up.

will see about scouting discoveries later. my game computer is acting up and headed to the shop for a new HD and some upgrades Monday.
