A little substitution problem?

My pitcher was injured on the last out of the half-inning and I couldn't pinch hit for him in our half of the inning without making a double switch. It wanted all positions, i.e. pitcher, filled. I made a double switch and went on. I should have been able to use a pinch-hitter and put the pitcher in when we went back on defense?

Yes, the "pitcher injured at end of an inning" has always been a problem for us. Eventually I'm sure we'll fix that but it's not an easy fix, unfortunately.
