Minor League AI Set-Up Issue

I am good with the AI handling my minors however I have Teams with a Full Roster and the AI puts all the pitchers in Relief? There are sufficient Starters (with stamina, etc.) so not sure why this would be?

Zero Starters???

I have not seen this issue in the past. The AI should always fill in its starters first. Do you have the pitchers set to "force start" in the bullpen? Or occasionally if the team is in the playoffs, they may only be set to have 1 or 2 starters, and if it happens that the one guy they had set as a starter yesterday got called up to the next level, then they could go a day without having someone listed as a starter.

Also, just because a player is listed as a SP or a RP, they can certainly be used in other roles. Is it that their roles are all set to RP, or that they are not filling in the starting rotation?

Well for my MLB club which I am handling... no issues - again, this is strictly for my AI controlled Minor League affiliates; I assume that I could as with my MLB Team manage this however have never had an issue with this in the past versions and for my minors would like it just automatically handled?

This bug has been reported and is in Project Tools. Happens quite often to me as well.

I added Matt to the assigned debuggers for this issue.

The issue also arises when you ask manager or bench coach for your rotation. I sometimes only get 3 or 4 starters put into the rotation and everyone else in my bullpen.

This issue is still there with the new patch. I'm going to set-up a test league and play around with some set-up options to see which ones are making this happen as it's happening in one of my online leagues.

When I ask the manager for staff, it only puts two or three starters in the rotation and everyone else in the bullpen even though I've got plenty of guys listed as capable of starting in that level of the minor leagues.

Tried playing around with a few settings and can't seem to duplicate this bug. I'm going to sim forward a few seasons and see if the issue surfaces, if not I'll see if I can get a copy of the league file from the commish to send to you guys.

Ghost players off usually fixes this issue.
