Pitching matchups are no longer given

my scout is no longer giving me the "pitching matchups" for the up coming series.

This used to be included in every report he would provide now it where it states
"here are the projected pitching matchups" there is nothing included

the first screen shot is an "old report" showing the pitching matchups

the second screen shot is what I receive now in my inbox with nothing included in the pitching matchups

did I screw up some setting? if so which one?

or did OOTP change something within the game? and if so, doe s that mean that now, pitching match-ups are not being given with the scouting report before each series

and if that is the case, can I return to a "pre-update" so that I once again get the pitching match-ups in the scouting report?

Yeah that got screwed up in the patch. Did some updates to improve the logic (so it should be more consistent between who's listed in the schedule at the top right, who's listed on your manager page, and who actually pitches the game), but in that this one got accidentally deleted.

will there be a "patch" coming out shortly to correct this? putting the pitching match-ups back into the news letter?

or will we need to wait for OOTP18? (hoping that this is corrected/re-instated in that version)

This should be fixed in the maintenance patch released today.

thanks, at work now so can not check it out yet. Will this "patch" once it is released, will it automatically install/update the game (I have OOTP 17 thru Steam)?

Yes, it should automatically update through steam.
