Historical Leagues

Does anyone know how to set up a historical career league with

1) real minors
2) no ghost players
3) no auto-created Fictional players

My leagues all suddenly turn fictional/historical with ghost players off as thousands of fictional players get automagically created or with ghosts on Jim Unknown takes many of the slots in the minors even though there are plenty of IRL players available.

I have not found a combination of settings that leaves historical leagues historical. Am I missing something?

I think there is a setting to turn fictional creation off?

Yes there is but it does not work if ghost players are off.

Has any thought been given to making use of the historical minors player database, minus the actual historical minors team/league setup? At this time it appears that it's the actual team and league setups that causes all the problems, teams not having enough players, teams using Jim Unknowns, fictional players being created etc......But, what if the historical league structure was disabled and we were able to create the old regular generic OOTP minors with each team being assigned an affiliate and simply had access to the historical minor leagues player database? Now I could start a game in 1921 and there would be enough players to use the normal injury setting right from the get go. Just seems like a waste to not make use of the player database. Elvis.
