Screen is off center and display settings aren't working

I just bought this game, and the screen is completely off. It seems to be in fullscreen mode (taskbar is visible, but that's it) and when I disabled the taskbar, it's still the same. The settings to change from windowed to fullscreen and to change the resolution don't do anything. I would think there would be an "apply settings" button but I think it's hidden off screen.

The game is unplayable, like menus are hanging off the screen, buttons aren't visible, etc. It seems almost like the game thinks my screen is way bigger than it is (it more than meets the game's requirements), and only the top left 75% or so of the screen is visible.

I'm on Windows 10, does anyone know what to do?

What resolution is your screen? If either the height or width is smaller than the minimum size for the game (1280x768), it'll force fullscreen mode.

It is 1920 x 1080. The screen doesn't go totally full screen and everything on the screen is off, almost like it thinks my screen is much bigger than it is. So like the center of the display is actually towards the bottom right of my screen

Strange. There isn't an apply settings button, the changes should take effect as soon as you restart. Can you try turning on debug trace (troubleshooting tab in start screen-Settings), then restart the game, return to that screen, and click on "Open Trace File" and post the results here? I'll let Sebastian know it's happening, he may have some ideas as to what's going on, but he'll probably need that information.

From my admittedly limited knowledge of that trace file, it looks like it's saying my computer is 960 x 540, which it most definitely isn't, it's a Dell XPS 13, 1920 x 1080, so maybe that's where the problem lies? It's thinking my screen is a lower resolution than it is?

Ah, I think I know what it is - check your Windows display settings (right-click on the desktop, then Display Settings), the Zoom setting ("Change the size of text, apps...") is probably set to 200%, which is cutting your actual resolution in half, and putting it below the game's minimum size.
