THis is NOT a No-Hitter

I just had this happen to my team:

First of all, according to the rules "An official no-hit game occurs when a pitcher (or pitchers) allows no hits during the entire course of a game, which consists of at least nine innings."

And on the other side, why does the game end with the road team batting with two outs in the 6th inning?

I'm the guy picked last in Baseball History knowledge, but I notice two things in the pics above: 1) it was called due to bad weather, making it an official game AFAIK, and 2) early 90's was it, when Vincent decided only games that went 9 IP > and no hits qualified? But your game's 1950's, so I'm thinking it would have been.

You might be right ... even though I play with modern rules, financials, etc. maybe the game awards No-Hitters according to how it was in the rules back then.

But shouldn't the boxscore be "re-set" to 5 complete innings?

That one's above my historical paygrade. I think other called games do go to complete innings, but IIRC bad weather is treated a bit differently. If I do run across a reasonable explanation, I'll chime back in, or someone with a bit more specific skill set will before then.

The 2 outs in the 6th still stand as they happened but the official result goes back to the last full innings that was played, being the 5th (5 innings complete make it an official game).

With the No-Hitter I think endgame has it right there.
