Assistant coach is interested.. but not really interested

I get a mail saying an assistant coach is looking for a contract renewal. But when I click negotiate it says he's "not interested". I had a kickass season, too. Any reason for the conflicting info?

Btw, I love this game and all the work that went into it. My posts are just some funny quirks that I've noticed. Maybe future changes for FHM4.

Maybe he's only interested to stay with the team as long as you leave ?

Just finished my first season in the QMJHL and the same thing happened with all of my staff members, including scouts and trainer.
