historical player import failed for 2016 players

I am unable to import players from the 2016 season. I'm using OOTP 17.12_75. Selecting the latest (2017) Lahman database and using the import.txt file. I know my import.txt is formatted correctly because I can import players prior to 2016.

Wondering if the historical_database.odb file is causing this issue, as those files are dated 8-8-2016.

If a player's career began in 2016 (i.e. Trevor Story) it fails. If a player's career started prior to 2016 (i.e. Jose Altuve) and I want to import based on his 2016 season, I only see stats up to 2015 for Altuve.

Is OOTP 17 no longer supported / updated??

Am I able to use Lahman database or I must use historical_database.odb ??

I did some further research... checked the master.csv file that accompanied the most recent version of historical_database.odb that I could find. The "final game" column does not have any entries for 2016 and I did not see any players that debuted in 2016, which confirmed my initial suspicions.

Back to my original question, if I'm running OOTP 17, will any further updates to the Historical Database become available? If not, am I unable to import players from 2016 and beyond?
