Jerseys and caps request -- based on the gangs of The Warriors (movie, 1979)
~~~Nevermind, I just found some jersey templates and I think I might be able to do these myself in GIMP~~~
*PS can anyone tell me how to delete this post? Can't seem to find that option Here's a quick link to the logos which are already cropped and have transparent backgrounds: https://www.bing.com/images/search?q...vie.co.uk+logo I would do some of these myself, but I don't have PS and, unfortunately, neither the ootputility nor justafans apps have the textures or functionality to make the jerseys match what the gangs wear in the movie. (Still very grateful for these tools as I have used both in the past with great success) There's just lots of satin, leather, denim, jackets, vests, necklaces, horizontal pinstripes, beanies, etc. Teams I'm interested in (based on the above logos): The Alleycats The Baseball Furies The Boppers The Destroyers The Electric Eliminators The Gramercy Riffs The Hi-Hats The Hurricanes The Jones Street Boys The Lizzies The Moonrunners The Orphans The Punks The Rogues The Saracens The Satan's Mothers MC The Savage Huns The Turnbull AC's The Van Cortlandt Rangers The Warriors The Wizards I can provide more info if needed with regards to the color/design of the jerseys/caps, but I wanted to guage interest first... If anyone is willing and able to help out with the jerseys and caps, I will gladly create a quickstart for the community in which I edit the names database to match that of the movie (Swan, Ajax, Cleon, Snow, Cochise, Cowboy, Rembrandt, Vermin, Mercy, etc.) as well as other fun easter eggs and such Last edited by slippin_jimmy; 12-22-2017 at 12:51 AM. Reason: figured it out i think |
Coincidently, I started working on this theme last week and just found your thread. I'm not sure what inspired me since I haven't seen the movie in years and never played the video game...
The Jones Street Boys
The stripe pattern seems to vary in the video game edition. Ballcaps take a creative license with this theme.
The Electric Eliminators
I'm discovering techniques for pre and post processing of the jersey images along with layers.
The Boppers
Still find the ballcaps the hardest to develop a design for.
The Hi-Hats
It's tough to simulate top hats.
The Punks
Cropped, transparent textures. I'll retry the Destroyers denim vests with this technique.
