2 GLB Openings (Boston & KC)
Gentlemen's League Baseball (GLB)
GLB Website with Stats+ for league info and reports (https://statsplus.net/glb/) Version: OOTP 18 Teams: 30 Sim Times: 8:00pm EST - MTWThF in season, everyday offseason League Time Per Sim: 7 days Current Season: beginning Offseason 2020 We utilize Slack for league communication. 'Normal' scouting league. GLB uses OOTP 18, with the purpose to emulate modern day baseball and it’s amateur ranks through a system of High School and College (Real Logos) feeder leagues. All MLB teams have human GMs and feeders are run and managed by the AI. We currently have 2 teams available: Boston Red Sox (99-63) $280M budget ($101M available for FAs) Boston is coming off a 99 win season and a ALDS appearance. Boston features one of the best rotation/lineup combos in all of GLB. The minors are a bit light but they do have the #63 and #75 prospects in the GLB 100. Boston does have 10 picks in the first 4 rounds of the upcoming draft, which looks to be loaded. This is a quality team set up to become a GLB dynasty, the previous GM had to leave due to work/school demands. Kansas City Royals (69-93) $144M budget ($40.7M available for FAs) Kansas City is towards the end of a rebuild process that has netted them the #6 system in GLB. The system features two potential all star OFs in Austin Beck (#3) and Calvin Mitchell (#37). KC has two picks in the top 10 of the loaded upcoming draft (#7 & #8). Only two contracts on the books for 2021 for a combined $18M. This is a franchise looking to get a GM that can take the young talent and maximize the budget space to contend in a wide open division. Please DM me if interested. Last edited by nkysportsguy; 02-10-2018 at 08:47 PM. |

Make that 3 Openings.....
Cincinnati Reds (65-97) $144M budget ($234M available for FAs) Cincinnati is in a similar situation to KC. However the Reds have an unbelievable amount of cash on hand, $203M to be exact. Cincy has the #10 system in GLB, including #13 Royce Lewis, #27 Chris Seise and the coveted SP Jeff Hensley. Cincy has the #5 and #9 picks in the loaded upcoming draft and a total of 10 picks in the first 4 rounds. Cincy has the money to sign some key FAs and push to compete in '20 or kick back and let the money roll in as the rebuild continues on. |

Cincinnati and Kansas City are taken. I have a few interested in Boston but none committed at this point. PM me quickly if you would like to be considered for the spot.
