Only Interested in Historical Seasons

I have never played OOTP sim game but the new version is what I've been looking for with regard to animations, player icons and stadiums.

However, I only care about playing games from 1871 to 1930.

Is there the same game play that I see posted on Youtube? Everyone seems to play the new season when they post. But do the historic seasons have the same animation, etc and true, historic ballparks?

Can I play a whole season manually?

The only Youtube videos I see of historic seasons show no game action, just a bunch of screens with stats.

Yes, yes, and yes. Since the historic ballparks were made by silvam, a fellow user, from scratch, we have most (nearly 200) but not all of them. Some of the deadball era parks have not been made.

Yes you can play historic games just like modern day ones, however the historical ballparks are not in the game but you can probably find some created by the community in the mod section, you can download historical facegen's for all the old players as well in mod section, as well as logos, jerseys and ballcaps.
