The AI doesn't know how to value draft picks during the season

Right before the trade deadline of August 31st (I moved it back in my league) I can trade my #1 draft pick with a current record of 90-45 to a team with a a record of 53-81. They want my pick so badly they'll even throw in their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th round draft pick. After the season the draft pick AI is really pretty solid. During the season? Yowza. This is on Very Hard/Heavily Favor prospects. I never traded draft picks for draft picks during a season before so didn't notice this until now.

Checking in a season later at the trade deadline, same deal. I'm at 85 wins, the bottom-barrel team is at 48 wins, and they'll give me all their draft picks for my first rounder.

I've noticed the same thing. It's extremely easy to fleece the AI teams between the end of the first year player draft and the beginning of the trading deadline. The rest of the time it seems to work properly.

Thanks for reporting this. You are correct, teams had it reversed when valuing picks for next year's draft. That will be fixed in the upcoming patch.
