You have to have a resolution of 1600 or higher. If that doesn't work have a look in the "patch plans this week" thread on I think page 3 there's some discussion about it there

The complete linescore in the in-game screen will be shown when you run at least 1900 in resolution width.

The out of town scoreboard will be updated in a future update to provide this info on resolutions that support this.

Is there any plan to incorporate the inning by inning scoreboard for smaller resolution screens (as was the case in OOTP 18)?

I have the window size set to 1920 X 1080 16.9 in settings, restarted and I still don't see the full scoreboard. I have a 23" monitor what am I doing wrong? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

This is what is EXACTLY happening to me. I’ve got the resolution and the right monitor size and I still can’t get the inning by inning scoreboard for the game I’m playing out. Frustrating.

is it maximized? it may be short of "1900" vertical lines (width) due to window frame. i don't htink it's that thick, but possible? if "fullscreen" it could be changing resolution on you too.. "fullscreen" is different than "maximized" window. it doesn't have to adhere to desktop resolution. re-verify in game settings if you use a "fullscreen" mode or if that's even a thing for ootp... ("alt-enter" would toggle fullscreen and windowed mode if not purposely made not to function that way)

try putting into a resizable window instead of maximized, and drag so only a sliver of the frame is visible, then stretch it futrher on the 'other side' that is still more visible ... if necessary, move it off screen a bit more, stretch a bit more, then recenter it to eke out as much as you can on screen

(don't cause it to get cropped ofcourse, unless it's affecting the change you want and not cuasing a visual problem for you)

do this for the horizontal reso too:
drag it so that the title is a bit offscreen too - you can only hide about 1/2 offscreen or it will auto-resize the height... once you do that, also click and drag to maximize vertical heighth. with 1/2 the title bar off screen, you can get a few more lines of horizontal resolution too.

Do you have DPI scaling disabled for the app? Find the OOTP .exe file, right click and enable "Override high DPI scaling..." option under the Compatibility tab.

This will ensure that the app runs in the true native resolution, without the OS "zooming" in.

I’ll give it a try when I play tomorrow. For the time being real life is affecting my playing time (Grrrrr!).

Yes. It actually started in Windows 8, but it has evolved a little bit overtime.

the app scaling is more likely th ecause than what i suggested.

even so, if you do what i said you can sometimes see an extra line on certain screens.. like rosters and transactions may show 8lines per "tile/subwindow" instead of 7 lines of players at that level or on dfa or int'l complex etc (whatever is selected) may still be worth it for other reasons.

in general you shoudl avoid building a preference to "fullscreen" mode of any game.. windows doesn't mesh well sometimes... alt-tabbing can cause numerous problems with other games/apps.. if not ootp (again, not "maximized", that's still a windowed-mode -- technical jargon)

Have you tried full screen mode? Seems to respond better imho than a windowed mode.

Dumb question but where do you find those settings for OOTP?

File > settings I believe (I'm at work). Just make sure to close and reopen OOTP after making changes.

"alt-enter" should swap to fullscreen vs windowed. hold both down.

I don't know exactly what I was thinking but I got it to work in windowed mode at 1920x1080 16:9. I suspect the problem all along is that I was thinking the window size should be default. But, as suggested by several here, it works showing the nine inning scoreboard only when changing the window to 1920x1080 16:9. Hopefully this will be of some help to somebody.

Thank you guys for helping!

Make sure your computer display is set at 100%. I was having the same issue and realized my computer was at 125%. Switched to 100% and now I get the full 9 innings display.

Yes, that is the problem. The OS reports a wrong screen reolution to the game when scaling is enabled in Windows, there is nothing we can do about it unfortunately, so the user needs to disable scaling to get the proper screen resolution support.
