Trading draft picks issue
Did a search, not sure if this has been addressed...
So it seems that when draft picks are traded AFTER the draft has occurred in a season (so, applying to the next season's draft), these are now denoted with a (-) after the draft round number. Presumably, this is because the position is not yet determined as the season isn't finished. When I traded a bunch of these picks, it appears the game couldn't differentiate between picks with the same round. So, if I got the Yankees 3rd pick and the Tigers 3rd as well, I have two third round (-) picks. The game allows me to trade the pick(s), but doesn't actually subtract the pick(s) from my possession! This means the pick can be traded repeatedly! I haven't tested this again, and it's possible I did something else to confuse the game. However, I traded for a few high picks from a few teams, traded them 10 times each, and still had them when the next season started! So something must be awry. Related, it would only allow me to trade one of the picks at a time, but this is much less significant. |
