Running MLB + International Leagues

Curious question.

I'd like to run the MLB with International leagues. Is the game designed to understand this or is it best to just run the MLB alone?

I mean as in scouting - will it know the other leagues are there? International agents - will they come from these leagues or will the game still make me these generated ones?

Thanks

I asked this question a while ago and got no response. The only way I learned was to try it out for myself!

To sum up your question: The game runs Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese leagues well but does other leagues less well (esp. Cuban). Defections a la Cuban style is something that this game can't really reflect other than the International Free Agent Option.

Which then brings me to your other question. If you run a league (say Japanese), then Japanese FA will not appear in the annual International Free Agent class of players that the game randomly generates.

As a result, because I have the Japanese and Korean leagues selected, I made the game produce only 6 (on average) intl FA vs 11. This way, the game doesen't produce a glut of Cuban and Taiwanese players.

That is EXACTLY what I wanted to know! Thanks for that.
