Tournament Mode question

+ New Tournament Mode – include teams from multiple leagues

We all have our reasons to upgrade to latest reason. Mine was the introduction of the new tournament mode. However, IMO, it has not been what I thought or wanted it to be. Having a tournament in March or April meant the teams are participating in the tournament and the regular schedule at the same time. Batters and especially pitchers have been tiring out quickly doing both.

Can I erase the regular season schedules for all leagues so I can only have tournaments? What is the best way to only have tournament leagues? Can I have a 64 team tournament with this new addition?

To clarify, players that are on regular rosters and also tournament teams are playing both their spring training games and tournament games at the same time? They don't get simply removed from the regular team/spring training roster?

Tried deleting schedules, but schedules kept coming back. Tournaments players play for team in tournament and spring training.

My first impression is the tournament mode is NOT a functioning well at all!

I was asking. I have not had the chance to test it myself.

Yes they are on both. You can skip the regular season and start a tournament after spring training. It worked for me.
