Maybe I'm wrong but the way I see it, the first scout talks about his ability and the second one about his potential.

Yeah, that's comparing potentials, Gauthier's is presumably higher. I'll have to see about adjusting the wording of the report, it's a little confusing right now since it's implying a comparison to his current skill level.

They're saying Kutchinriter is better than Gauthier right now, but won't be as good as Gauthier.
(Gauthier is the aging back up, 1 star lower than Kutchenriter)
