Switching to modern 3d with newest 19.3.44 patch

With the newest 3.44 patch modern 3d view now has almost everything I could get in the classic v18 view. Time to make the full time switch. That new expanded boxscore\stat combo box with batter handedness always on display is a great addition. Only thing I'm missing from v18 is the "scoring updates" on top of the expanded out of town scores.

Full screen stadiums with disappearing widgets, Brilliant!!

where's the field?

joking, but it does make me feel claustrophobic. this coming from someone that goes nuts if there is more than ~one or two columns of desktop icons.

his resolution is at 1080p.

Yeah, 2560*1440 resolution.

Yes, you have to have a large enough screen resolution. I think it has to be at least 1,600 in width.

1600 x 900 here & I can't get it.

Sweed - do you get the player image overlap on the newspaper page at 2560x1440? I use that setting also and get this. (see image) I'm thinking it's because of the hi resolution.

It doesn't bother me at all, I'm just curious if you get the same.

Yes I do get the overlap. Been meaning to post it but, since it's not a big deal, I don't think about it after I exit the game. Never occurred to me that it might be linked to high resolution.

2560*1440 27 inch monitor.

Just open the out of town scoreboard and drag it to upper corner. There is a
"+" button on border, every time you click it the board expands downwards and adds another game.

do you know of any way to get rid of the smoky/shadowy PbP box?

Are you using the dark skin with the dark pbp box like in my screenshot? I guess I never thought of it as smoky or shadowy. But then to be fair I barely look at it since I play with short pbp and text to speech.

Matter of fact on my last view I used in classic mode I had the pbp box almost totally off the screen. All that was showing was the very top selection boxes so I could set infield and outfield defense.

gotcha, dark skin. I'm using OOTP light. the box is white & smokey around the edges. not that big of a deal.

had the dark PbP box for classic before the 1st update, it was nice.

I'm using 1920 X 1080 but not getting the expanded score board. Am I missing something? Is there something I need to do to make it show up?

You probably have it set to zoom. Set it at 100% where you have the display settings.
