has 'improved' since the first couple patches have been released?

Might be anecdotal but it sure seems that way...

Not sure, but Ohtani sure did a lot better in my year 1 sim after all the patches

what do you mean "improved"? was there something wrong previously?

When the game first released, I felt like the lowered pitching ratings via ZIPS port into the game was creating almost across the board much worse pitching performances than should be expected.

Most said, small sample sizes, but I've started SEVERAL franchises post patches and almost universally it feels more like 18 and ERAs and walks seem lower.
