Question about FaceGen
For those of you that use FaceGen over historical photos, how closely do the pictures generated match the players' actual appearances? I've preferred photos, but I'm thinking that I might like to start seeing players like Willie Mays appear in Braves' gear.

Don't actually play historical, but I do use some of the historical faces for my fictional players so I've seen quite a few of them. Based on what I've seen many are spot on, while others are not quite there. Also, if you come across one that is not up to par you can always check these boards to see if someone has released an improved face for that player. Possible, on well known players, but not likely on more obscure players.

While not perfect, they're very good and many are almost indistinguishable from their photos. Make the switch, you won't regret it.

I like facegen because of the whole uniform thing. For the most part the resemblance between facegen and recognizable real faces is astonishing. I am not certain whether the third string catcher's on the 1922 Brown's facegen is accurate. If it is, that is great, if not, then I doubt I will notice.
