No hitter but he allowed 1 run!?

In my fictional league (1960 MLB real teams with all fictional players), Chicago White Sox ace Jose Lopez just got a no-hitter as Chicago defeated KC Athletics 7-1.

I was like.... what the...... how can Lopez throw a no hitter and the final score is 7-1? I thought maybe I have discovered a bug, only to look closer into the game log. Turns out that Lopez had walked 3 batters in a row in the 2nd inning and then allowed one of them score on a sacrifice fly. LOL......

Just want to share this interesting story with the community here. I don't know if this has ever happened in real life but this is certainly the first time I've seen it in my 5-year OOTP career.

Just be glad you still won the game: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No-hit..._losing_effort

It's rare, but it happens every now and then. Last one was 2011 when Ervin Santana no-hit the Indians, 3-1.

Three of the Astros/Colt 45s' 11 no-hitters (including Ken Johnson's 1-0 no-hit loss to the Reds in '64) featured one run allowed. Darryl Kile no-hit the Mets (7-1) in '93 and Don Nottebart got the Phillies (4-1) in '63.

In 1990, Andy Hawkins threw a no-hitter ... and lost 4-0!

Sure... walk, error/passed ball etc, grounder, fly ball, and there you are. A totally ordinary inning in any other game.
