Game keeps crashing when I play out games

SO frustrating. This has been happening to me for awhile but this is the worst time I've experienced this. I've been saving before playing out playing out games to prevent this issue but of course the one time I forget, the game crashes and I lose all of my progress of the great season my team was having. Almost ruins the experience and makes me not even want to keep on playing this save anymore.

OOTP team, I know this is a longshot, but is there any way you can recover the progress that I made?

I don't why this keeps happening, but I am so sad right now. Last save I made was in May and I was in late July in a tight division race and the simulation probably wont be as generous the next time around.

Really going to be hard to get back into this save, which is a shame I was having a lot of fun with it.

Just reopened the save and got blown out in the first three games i simulated, of course. Game can't even give me a break. I legit feel like crying right now
