32 MLB Team - Promotion/Relegation - 20 Year Sim/History

Wanted to share my 20 Year Promotion/Relegation Sim with you guys. It was fun and it generated some pretty cool results.

The Basics:

- Current Rosters/Financials
- DH Both leagues
- Injuries were set to off
- 154 Game Schedule
- Trades allowed (between leagues + draft pick trading)
- Expanded the universe to 32 team (adding Portland & Montreal)
- There are 4 Leagues (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Steel) and the teams in the Division in Year 2018 are based on Team Budget. The 8 highest budgets are placed in Gold, the next 8 in Silver, etc.
- Initially I had each leagues best record rewarded with promotion but I liked the idea of a 4 team playoff (best of 7 series) to give a lot more variety.

Few Interesting Notes:

- The Orioles and the Rays are the only teams to have won a Championship in each league (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Steel)
- The Orioles are the only team to have won a League Championship in each league AND an Association Title
- The Marlins are the only team to have won THREE (3) consectutive League Championships (Steel, Bronze, Silver)
- The Giants won either a League Championship or a Regular Season Championship in Six (6) consecutive seasons.
- The Athletics have won the Steel League Regular Season Six (6) times but have only won the Steel League Championship once.
- Every team has won at least ONE (1) League Championship
