Question on simming games?

Ok you all have been very helpful and I so appreciate it. But I have another question. Say I play as GM and manager and I want to sim a month at a time. Being that I am playing manager as well who takes the pitcher out and takes care of substitutions while I sim the games? How does that work? I really dont want to sit there and play every game. Please let me know...

P.S. How do i change a pitchers role ? For example make a him a closer as opposed to middle relief?

The AI manages the games using the strategy options you have set.

You can always sim.

Yes, you can go to team home page, select strategy and you can set up your team strategy and down below you can set strategy for individual players. I play as GM and let my manager make all these decisions so I do not mess with this screen much. When I did play as manager, I ended up leaving these settings on default.
