Player Dev. and Scouting Budget When Creating a New League
League Settings > Financials
TEAM EXPENSES & SALARY SETTINGS Player Dev. Budget Baseline (0 = Disabled) Scouting Budge Baseline Set both to $1,000,000. Now visit the front office of any team. You will see that under expenses. both of these are shown as $500,000 for 2017 and YTD. In order for me to actually make each one of them as a $1,000,000 expense, I need to set each of them to be $2,000,000 in the league creation. |

Is this when setting up a completely new game, when adding a new league to a game already in progress, or simply changing the value?
When adding to one in progress, a lot of the time the setting won't really take effect until teams plan for their next budgets, so I would suggest changing the setting during the playoffs so that the new setting will be active when teams set their budgets going into the off-season. Otherwise, if you can let us know a little more when exactly you're changing it, we can see why teams are only setting it to the min value. |
