Talent evolution

I've managed to play a modern game into the 2042-43 season so far and I've started to notice that the talent level coming through the NHL draft has dropped off significantly over the past decade or so. 0 players above a 1.5 current talent, with only 2 even hitting that mark. The potential ratings aren't much better, either. Has anyone else gotten this far and noticed the same sort of thing?

If anyone else has had these issues, I'd like to politely suggest 'fixing the talent devolution in later years' for future versions of the game.

I am in 2033/2034. managing Ottawa Senators, and I do noticed there is almost no five star players on NHL rosters. Will check it out again when I get my playing laptop back, but I am almost sure there is no more than maybe few five star players.
