Just got my first Gold Pack...

I (username thriftdork) just purchased my first Gold Pack with 5000PP, I went to open the pack, an error message popped up and sent me back to the main screen. When I got back to that screen the pack was gone and so were my 5000PP. I did not get any players nor did I get my 5000PP back...

You should check your inactive players.

I did that after reading some responses...no extra players...I didn't get any of the cards out of the pack.

From our logs, it appears you got the following players in your gold pack:
MLB 2018 Live, SP Kyle Hendricks, CHC, 2018
MLB 2018 Live, CF Dustin Fowler, OAK, 2018
MLB 2018 Live, 2B Jason Kipnis, CLE, 2018
MLB 2018 Live, RP Giovanny Gallegos, STL, 2018
All-Star, CF Torii Hunter, MIN, 2007
MLB 2018 Live, 1B Jose Abreu, CWS, 2018

Depending on your settings, it's possible some may have gotten auto-sold, but I would suggest taking another look through your roster, reserves, and inactive list if you still don't see those players.
