I don't understand what happens to the roster sometimes

Last season I changed pitchers down the stretch. A SP started 5 games for me. I did not change my roster again at all. Didn't get a chance to log in for season 3 at all until now. Suddenly not only is that SP not on my team, he was inactive. What could possibly cause this? You would think if it was a roster submit issue that he wouldn't have started any games last season, right?

This also happened to me. I bought a Melancon before the sim started this morning and put him into my bullpen replacing Bieber. When I logged back in 7 hours later, Beiber was back in my bullpen and Melancon was inactive.

AGAIN, Freddie Fitzsimmons got removed from my team and deactivated at the start of the new season. For no reason. Why?

Do you play on two different computers? Do you leave PT running when you are away from the computer for extended periods of time?

Yep, happened for me. Put Khris Davis and Salvador Perez in my line up last night. Checked today and not only are both of them inactive, but when I activated them they’re on my reserve roster and have the 14 day wait period enabled. Not only that, I’m left with a 23 man roster with no back up catcher now.

I would qualify this as a major bug as it greatly affects your team..

Are you guys sure you're hitting submit after making the changes? The most likely reason for this happening would be if you make major changes, forget to hit submit, and don't have auto-submit enabled.

Auto submit is enabled for each of my teams.

I had Fitzsimmons on my team all season. Then when the new season begins he isn't on my team. He is the only player this is happening with. 2 seasons in a row.

One computer. I sometimes have it running for 2-3 simulations at a time, but no longer than that.

This is still happening. I sold a player last night, and bought a replacement on the auction house. Inserted him in the line up and submitted the team. I woke up this morning and said player is inactive. I activate him and he goes straight to the reserve roster with the 14 day designation. Now I’m down a starting player for the foreseeable playoff future. Pretty awesome.
