Money for FA vrs Money for Extensions

I'm sure this is a very basic question, but I'm wanting to rebuild a team and I have like 29M for "Extensions" and only 12M for "Free Agents".

Can someone help me here? IF I don't necessarily have guys I want to extend, why can't I use that money in the regular FA market?

Maybe I'm missing something. I'll admit I don't understand baseball finances that much, but I'm learning...

Basically money for Extensions is for future seasons, the Free Agent money is for the current season.

i can't recall off the top of my head, but if you compare the difference with values on the accounting page and front office, then you can determine why the difference exists. some 'money' can't be spent on one or the other.

it's not short-changing you. if there's no contract extension, it's not counting it. even arbitration estimates aren't counting against you. only guaranteed costs.

A great question to answer. Just started playing. I mean, this has been a great game so far, but I was not able to understand every rule and how to create a great team. In fact, it's much easier for me to spend my time playing live casino games with great jackpots like joker123, where are you also get a good chance of winning a great deal of money. That being said, some of you might give it a try as well, apart from playing this awesome game. The best one for me is the live roulette or the wheel of luck!
