Disappearing Fielding stats

Curious issue:

Minor league fielding stats seem to disappear from team histories after a year.

I was simming for history a league with a full minor league system. I looked at the team histories of individual minor league teams, and all previous years' defensive stats disappeared, and almost all players from that particular year on the team page were listed as DHs.

Is this a bug? Did it exist previously?

There's a league setting whether to retain minor league fielding stats. I believe by default it is off (keeping major league stats only). So if you want to keep them around, I'd suggest enabling them. You can find them in the game settings, on the same tab that you can set player injuries or aging/development speed.
