How would you handle this?

Was playing the third game of a four-game series between my St. Louis River Walkers and the Springfield Prairie Fighters in my fictional Midwest Baseball League (real players on made up teams).
I had just dropped game two of the series.

Left the room and came back and started what I thought was Game 3..
That's when I noticed, a few batters in, that I had skipped a starting pitcher, and upon further review saw Game 3 had been played and I had lost 7-3.
I am pretty sure, I know who the culprit was.
My Kat. (Her name is Kat).

She had been sleeping in front of the monitor -- she gets jealous when I am on the computer for long periods and will camp out there -- and had occasionally been whapping the mouse with her tail before this happened.
I accepted the loss and moved on. I think Kat doesn't want me to make the playoffs, so I can give up on the this OOTP bullchit. (At least in her opinion, as my world should revolve around her).
