How Do You Stop AI from Changing Lineups, Depth Charts and Pitching Rotations?

I set the rosters, lineups, depth charts and pitching rotation... they only last a few games and then the AI makes changes.

How do you stop the AI from having any control on rosters, lineups, depth charts and pitching rotations?

On the Game Settings screen, I chose this:
"SET ALL TEAMS TO CONTROLLED BY JIM SMITH"

Will this setting give me total control over all teams?

I do not use the coaching system.

Should I check anything in the COACHING STAFF SETTINGS?

The last item on the screenshot "GM-only users are always in control of lineups (legacy-mode).
(What is legacy mode?)

Do I need to use this to have total control of lineups, rosters, depth charts and pitching rotations?

OR will the setting in post #1 take care of everything?

Would appreciate your help and advice.

Frustrating... on the Game Settings screen I told the AI to let Jim Smith totally control the rosters, lineups, rotations, depth charts... and I go in today and find that the AI has reworked everything.

Luckily, I created Custom Lineups for RHP and LHP.

I will just have to use them each time the AI changes the lineups and rosters.

Surely there is some way to stop this.

Come to my rescue Matt Arnold or Lucas Berger... you guys know everything about the game.

Maybe I need to play the game the standard way.

I never use minor leagues... just use the reserved rosters as the minors.

Maybe I'm too much of a control freak and want to totally control the rosters, pitching rotations, lineups and depth charts.

Maybe this is the wrong way to play this game,

Any ideas on the subject folks?

So far, so good.

The setting ""SET ALL TEAMS TO CONTROLLED BY JIM SMITH"
on the League Settings Screen seems to be working.

Nothing has changed on the rosters for the past few games.

The AI has left my league alone.

Hope it holds.
