Avoiding the Steroid Era
In previous versions I didn't have any problems avoiding the steroid era. I'd start my league pre-1990 then adjust & lock league totals and I was golden. Steroid era gone.
Well, that's not working as well now. I locked league totals in after the 1992 season but they are still changing. My question is simple. What is the best strategy for avoiding the steroid era? |

Did you reset the LTMs on opening day each season

I just started doing that and it did not work. The HR's are completely out of control. I reset it to 1992 and confirmed the LT's are accurate but after about 90 games there are several players on pace for 60+ HR's. There is this gradual spike in power that I'm struggling to control.

Are you recalcing modifiers every year before the season starts. if so that should keep your Hr totals to pretty much what you are wanting.
Make sure the season has recalced to the league totals you want, then check the stats for that season |
