International Amateurs Issues

There is an issue when July 2 comes around and it creates 334 international amateurs.

It happened twice in a row. Standard 2019 MLB team. I tried to change between normal of 30 IFA to 15 to 120 and it always populates 334 players.

Do you have any other leagues that have International Amateurs turned on? I think they all go into the same pool.

No I do not. Just the standard league with MLB only.

This is just the game working as designed. For the first season in an MLB league, it uses the IFA's we've created as part of the roster set. There are a bunch of them, as you can see

In future season the game will use game generated IFA's and only create as many as you've specified in the settings.

Are you sure? I just simmed forward to 2020 with a different franchise and it is now showing over 200 international amateurs.

I think if you had a lot the season before that didn't get signed, they'll carry over to the next year.
