I'm done. I see news about OOTP21 renewing with the MLB and MLBPA but there is nothing about FOF9 or FOF2020 or FOF2100, it is clear that the priority is NOT on FOF so I will not be purchasing this game whenever, if it ever, comes out. OOTP is a great game and I will still buy it because there is actually news about it. I will switch to Wolverine for football.

Now I know what you guys will say, "It will be done,when it's done." and "That's how Jim rolls." Well to that I say that when a game developer gives this little attention to their customers, their customers will start to leave. That is what I am doing. Taking my money elsewhere.

It takes but a few moments to drop a quick post to say SOMETHING, even if it is "Hey I am still alive." That is courtesy, especially when people are paying you money for your product. If Jim wants to stay silent, fine, but he has just lost a customer. If OOTP wants to say nothing about this product, fine, but now they lost a person who would have bought it.

Oh geez... Look, we're ALL waiting for this game. We're ALL waiting for a game as great as FOF with the GUI and customization of OOTP. Game development does not happen over night. I am one of you that is very, very, frustrated with the lack of information surrounding this game and lack of news from this staff. But here's the deal... It's going to come out. And when it does, we'll all be ready to throw our money at it. If you want a football sim to play now, either get FOF8 or PF20 but don't pretend like you won't be back for FOF9. You're just acting like a five year old throwing a tantrum looking for attention. Grow up.

Also, as pointed out already, have the balls to post from your real account. Don't create some fake account just to get attention.

I'll tell you one thing: If this game ever gets off the ground - and I cannot blame people who are doubtful and frustrated with waiting - it will be one hell of a game given the amount of time and apparent effort being put into it.

I violated my own procedural rule in coming here but once in a while, curiosity overcomes me. The rule is this: When OOTP/FOF is ready, I will hear about it in a newsletter. I will come running back with cash in hand. Until then, I will attend to other matters.

Now I return to that rule. My best wishes to everybody involved with developing OOTP/FOF and I hope to hear from you in 2020. Happy New Year!

When they do complete this project expectations are going to be high, but if they knock it Out Of The Park it’s going to be huge. Football is incredibly popular and if this game gives us the tactical sophistication with graphics like the OOTP, i really believe it’ll be a game changer for the company

Duke Nukem Forever took 14 years and many more millions than OOTP has and was still a pile of dogs ****. Length of time to make a game doesn't equate greatness.
