No Way to Sort by AL/NL/Both in Statistics

On the All Star Game Manual Selection page, there is a button to select whether you want the list of players displayed to be limited to AL, NL or Both. The Sortable Stats page does not have such a button. There is a Filter button which suggests you can "Filter" by League but if you enter American or American League it doesn't work. From what I can tell, the basic Sortable Stats page is missing perhaps its most basic Function, the ability to look at Statistics by League.


I am an AL fan first. 80% of the time I look at stats I look at AL stats. When I look at NL stats I filter out the AL stats. I look at both league stats at the same time maybe 5% of the time. With OOTP's Sortable stats page I am FORCED to look at the stats in a manner I would only choose to do 5% of the time. Very unsatisfying, which is a huge shame since being a baseball fan is all about perusing the stats.



I'm certain the ability to look at stats on a single league basis is hugely important to most users. I cannot for the life of me understand how this could not be addressed after how many years OOTP has existed. Clearly the OOTP staff know it's a need since they went to the trouble of addressing it on the ASG Manual Selection page. The Sortable Stats page functionality is MISSION CRITICAL! Please, please, please fix this NOW. It's like a 140 out of 100 size problem, almost as important as providing a Save As button for the game so users can recover from bugs/errors/mistakes and not be forced to live with them for the rest of the entire season. That should be fixed Day One, the League sort for Sortable Stats on Day 2. Get it done.
